We held our Induction Programme for all the people under the Ministry umbrella. Recipients of the Education Merit Scholarship, Teaching Scholarship(Overseas), Teaching Scholarships(Local), Teaching Awards all gathered under one roof in the Ministry’s Edutorium for our first meetup.

We could all feel awkwardness as for many of them, it was probably the first time they were meeting up. For the EMS & TSO scholars, we were having fun mingling around as we have had much prior experience with each other.

We were introduced to education policies of Singapore, systems, the usual induction stuff. Yeap, I have to say it’s the usual “brainwashing” stuff, but it was informative as well. All in all, it was a pretty decent meetup session, but the overseas scholars were having too much fun to bother about anything else…
