While sitting in the staff room yesterday, I felt bored. Setting prelim papers can *very* taxing and boring and mono. So I decided to catch up on the (in)famous Kancho Chronicles by this American English Teacher in Japan. Well, officially it’s better known as the OutPostNine Editorials, but I don’t care. It’s Kancho to me.

For the uninitiaited, this is what Kancho is: kids clasping their hands together, sticking out their first fingers, and shoving them up your butt. Quoted from the editorials. NOTE: JAPANESE KIDS, not Singapore ones, thank god.

It’s been weeks since I caught up on his editorials, so I read quite a few of them at once. I was laughing like a mad chinaman in the room, and had colleagues of mine looking at me in strange manners after that. Maybe they thought I’ve really gone bonkers in the process of setting the prelim papers. Az (the author) really has a good knack for hilarious descriptions and making the worst things sound funny. One of the two sites I catch consistently for interesting reading material. the other being the khelath’s Mis-Educator’s.

For anyone interested, both sites are linked to the right –>
