Normally, you would see teachers on the receiving end of the gifts for Teacher’s Day. But today was different. Mrs Lim gave me something.

Trust me, I was in shock. Didn’t Teacher’s Day mean that (ex-)students like me thank my teachers for what I am today? When the heck in the world did the roles reverse!? But well, she gave me a small token of her appreciation. She knew that I went out of my way to stay on and help her out with the sec4 Geog work. It was her way of thanking me, and wishing me the best for my future endeavours. Mrs Lim never actually taught me directly, but I’ve worked with her on many occasions as a exco member of the council. It’s something I really appreciate and never expected.

Thank you Mrs Lim.
