complicated simplicity

Today I met up with the guys. Weili, Chonghan, Yisong, Ruilong organised a high tea session at Top of the M for me, and Allan. Royce was not free. We had a great time munching, crapping, and chatting. It’s just quite sad that we are all now leaving. The reality just hits you. Tan was right. You will never know how it feels until you are really leaving. Everyone else can say good things, but only you will feel the sadness. I also met up with some other friends after the high tea.

With that, I’ve concluded almost all the breakfasts, lunches and dinner I would entertain. The rest of the time is reserved for my family, packing and such. I didn’t have as much time as I wanted to meet up with more people. Kinda regret that. Oh well… It’s not as if I’m leaving for good.

Anyway, today I’ve got asked the same question twice: Why did Royce suddenly switch over to Cambridge? *scratch head* why is everyone asking me?! It’s like the fourth or fifth time I’ve been thrown the question. As usual, I just smiled and asked them to ask him. I didn’t think it was appropriate to answer the question myself. I just find it funny why people decided to ask me. Some of these people have even gone to the extent of asking me if I was irritated at him for “pangsehing” me. That got me on the floor laughing. Our friendship is one that is built on much more than anything physical. We’ve been through much together, and I’m not about to get pissed at something this trivial. I’m fact happier for him cos he got what he wanted, just like I know I would do Chem in IC over NST in Cambridge. God, some people can get naive.

Dad’s coming back tomorrow. Whee.
