Cooking..

After the “War Council Meeting” last night, the household finally got everything trashed out. Everyone got their own roles and responsiblities within the household. Papa Alvin would handle the finances, Mama Mel will handle the groceries for the household, Sis Yipian would handle the household necessities, Brother Alwyn would hold reins over the technical issues, while I would settle the cooking and rostering arrangements. Since we had 5 of us, each one of us will cook a day of the week, and we’ll all eat out on weekends. We’ll have household lunches at Chinatown on Sundays so we can shop for groceries at the same time as well.

So I finally got down to buying personal groceries today. I spent about 7pounds for a weeks worth of breakfast and lunch groceries. I managed to get some sasauges on cheap sale today, 6 pork sasauges for 1.15. So I had them for lunch. I kinda added too much oil, and well, my sasauges were a little too oily for my liking. Oh well, at least I cook edible food. Alvin settled last night’s dinner, and Alwyn volunteered to cook tonight. I think Mel’s settling tomorrow’s dinner, so it’s me and Yipian for Thurs and Fri I guess. Better start brushing up and preparing recipes. I don’t want my housemates to die at my first attempt.

Got some ham, cheese, bread and juice in the fridge for the next few days..

Gonna hit school for Fresher’s Fayre. It’s like a CCA fair for us, but the number of CCAs here is huge. I’m probably gonna hit like Wargaming Soc, ICSS, Ultimate Frisbee and what’s nots. Might not be having net connection for a few days, so adios.
