complicated simplicity

I was told many times by many people that when I came over here, I must not study too hard and not play. So I decided, I would do as much as I can, and have fun here! One of my biggest regrets so far is to not have done sports in school, so I told myself I would this time round. So where did I end up?

Anyway, I was with Imperial’s Disc Doctors for training on Wednesday, and OUCH. Ok, I realised I was way out of touch in disc throwing, and even more out of touch for my fitness levels. I had aching muscles by the end of the several drills. But at least I was in shape. The air here’s so much colder and dry, that you feel tired and breathless very easily. And Imperial teams have pretty bad names, for example, their ladies rugby team’s called Imperial Virgins. I was like….WTF.

Anyway, I kinda settled down, just a couple of things left to settle before I settle back down into the monotone life of a chao mugger. With labs 4 times a week for 3-5 hours each, and tutorials and lectures. I got free lab coats and safety specs too. Not to mention my first lab assignment on thin wafer chromatography and selective recrystalization. -scratches head-. die liao la… Got my timetable, and it looks…..interesting.
