complicated simplicity

My god, I come home after a long day at the lab and I see my comments spammed with birthday messages! Thanks guys. Love you all . It really means alot to me!

I had a fantastic day at school today, with a really really unexpected birthday celebration thrown for me by our greatest mastermind Klement! I was so shocked and touched. Many cheers to the MOE scholars and my fellow chemists for pulling it off under my nose, love you guys! Apparantly our dear Klement had everything masterminded from last week, with every single contingency (eg. Ivan decides to go home for lunch, Ivan decides to not eat at MDH, Ivan decides to…), as well as *ordering* everyone to the Main Dining Hall for lunch. Even when I threw a spanner into the works by telling them I had to go to the bank to settle something really important, he had it all covered. OMG, Klement ah! Really powderful. I was so shocked when they suddenly brought out a cake and everything. I *was* hoping to keep things lowkey…but… well… Anyway, how the hell did I not see it coming?! Adrienne, Chiayi, Zhongyi, Klement, Yun Lei, Diane, Kelly, Ziyang had all magically appeared at MDH. Thank you all for making my 21st birthday a great one.
