On NUS to have its very own university town by 2009… Professor Shih Choon Fong, President, NUS, said

You look at Bukit Timah’s success, our ministers and their spouses. You look at where they found their spouses - in the halls and colleges. I think there’s a lot to say that I am sure this will promote bonding, not just through the halls but can be part of their personal growth and interpersonal relationships.

So now to counter the falling birthrates and late marriages, Singapore turns to its universities…

  2. ermz… okie… i muz admit.. as a NUS student… well it is already happening… no need his help liao lah… come on lah.. i can tell u tat all the faculty clubs are like SDU and the activities they organise during orientation is so obvious… even me have been complaining all the time during the dry-run of the orientation. well.. SDU is ever glad to sponsor events like secret pals.. :x
