I’m gonna stuff myself with books which I never had time to read, since I have more time on my hands now. No labs this week, so I’m gonna enjoy some personal time to myself before the work starts getting very hectic next week. 4 days of labs a week, ICSS events, and ANSO events to handle, not to mention now I’ve got 4 modules of work instead of just 1.

Currently reading:

  • Animal Farm,George Orwell
  • 1984, George Orwell
  • Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, Susanna Clarke
  • Debt of Honor, Tom Clancy

Oh, and I love your pressies dajie. :) Thanks! I feel bad not getting anything better for you, but I figured something along that line was appropriate for you. Reading the book really took my mind off a really really bad exam paper.

And Haz, you too, although as usual, you are ALWAYS late. Love the cufflinks, and they probably cost alot. I’m thinking of hitting Paris/Rome during Easter, so I might drop in to meet you if you aren’t too busy. :)

Anyway, on a sidenote, I was discussing the Singapore Judicial Branch with someone yesterday, and I realised my knowledge of it was quite thin. Anyone know where I can get more information about it? The main contention point being the role of a Chief Justice appointed by a friendly government, the term of a Chief Justice, the ‘immunity’ of the Justices from the Executive Branch, as well as the accumulation of power. If anyone could just enlighten me or point me to the correct place, I would be quite happy.

  3. Lets see. I could take the Eurostar over to Paris every morning, give you a kiss, and return on the next Eurostar in time for my first lecture in campus. How does that sound to you?

On the other hand, you got your Christmas present ON TIME. Considering I only send out 4 presents a year, you should feel good. Are the French always so greedy madame?

  4. Non. But I hardly believe you would be able to afford the 100euros everyday. So figure out another way. Anyway, I’m thinking of doing something after slacking for so long after my IB. How does me joining you at IC sound?

I’ll be travelling around soon, not taking on anymore assignments I guess. I’ve gotten very tired of my life now, just want something else. No idea where I’ll be heading yet, but will drop a postcard to ya.
