Aye

It’s been a really hectic week so far. Been busy as one of the lead publicists for the upcoming ICSS event, ROJAK! Been running between meetings, photoshoots, union briefings and such. Not to mention my own school workload that’s been piling up. I missed a briefing today because I forgot about the time as I spent 8 hours on my lab report, and it’s still not finished. From 3 to 11, I’ve been looking at statistical errors, graphs and cursing. Ok, maybe not 8, cut some slack for dinner, maybe 6. I’ve not been lagging behind in school work, yet.

Gotta spend some time catching up I guess. I got my foundation exam results back, got a B. Well, I studied for 8 hours in total for my foundation exam, so I *DESERVED* not to get an A, which I presume all the other chemists got. But then again, they spent weeks (and months) studying, and I spent a weekend. Talk about study efficiency! Only myself to blame for spending my Christmas vacation all over Europe. But it was one of the best times of my life. And I know I’ll never let myself do it again, because I cannot afford it anymore. I only got my 2-1 now, but I will get my 1 in June. That I promise myself.

My schedule for the week’s hell, got a rehearsal I need to be at in the evening tomorrow, and gonna spend the afternoon researching and finishing up my lab report on photospectrometry analysis of Iron complexes. Got nonlinear regression lab classes on Thursday and Friday afternoon, and a meeting after that on both evenings. I might have to go Hwa Chong Nite to cover for someone on Sat, but I’m hoping I don’t have to. I want a life! Rather, I need time to catch up on my school work. My physical chemistry module’s screw to hell, and my inorganic’s almost in that state. And I got a date to look forward to for Saturday evening, so PLEASE gimme a damn break!

Next week’s lab week, so… I don’t even have to mention my schedule! It looks like 9am to 6pm every day, and meetings after that. Gosh… Oh well, Haz you were right, I was asking for it.
And can anyone believe I’m actually ranting here? I’m blogging to take a break, at 0017. Great. Gonna hit the sack, got early Maths classes tomorrow. Adios.
