complicated simplicity

I’m going Germany! Berlin, Frankfurt, Stuggart, Munich are definately on my list, and I’ve time for more!

Aunt Ruth asked me to visit her after my exams, and I decided, ‘Hey, why not? It’s a good break, and it’s the World Cup!’ How often is it that you get to visit a country in the midst of something that HUGE? So I told her, yea. That was when I was in Singapore. When I came back to London, my fellow chemists apologised to me. They had planned a trip to Germany after the exams, but couldn’t contact me over Easter, so they didn’t include me. Hey, no hard feelings. It was my own fault I wasn’t online. They were quite sad as well.

My original plan was to head to Germany on the Monday after my exams, giving me the weekend of pack up everything in my room in preparation for the big move. And I was contemplating if I should go Berlin. It’s a 6 hour train ride away from the rest of Germany. Then today, I decided. Hell, I wanna go with them, they are just too much fun to not be with. Therefore I just booked my plane tickets, my accomodations to slot right into theirs! Hurray! Quoting Diane, “hurray, a proper chem trip!” I’ll fly into Berlin with them, tour Berlin with them. They would return to London on Monday night, while I moved onto to Munich, tentative on an overnight train, then to Stuggart, Frankfurt and other places, before coming back to London on the 28th. Then it’s probably homebound on the 1st July…
