It was quite exciting leading an expedition up. We did speed climbs up to about 700m in altitude, and a hell lot of scrambling. I do salute the 2 ladies who braved the winds, the cold and the fatigue following me through some pretty rough climbs and scaling. We had a wonderful time up along the ridge lines of Snowdonia National Park on Saturday night, though I must admit it was very tiring. We cooked that night and had a lot of fun during social, playing all sorts of silly games. I never knew I was that flexible. I think we almost got pretty drunk on Sherry, Port, Whiskey, red wine, and quite a few pints of Carling and ale. The next day we scaled another ridge, but decided to walk along the contours instead. That was probably the most exciting scrambling I did so far.In the evening we hit a pub on the drive back to London in Warwick where I enjoyed a nice gammon steak and some pies. Getting back home at about 11, I collapsed into bed, only to stumble into a bloody physical chemistry lecture this morning. Heck, it’s difficult enough to follow the maths when I’m sober, I was just busy copying today.
