I’ve been in in Croatia for for about 24hours now, and been nearly sleepless for 2 nights after spending a night at Luton Airport and another on the coach from Zagreb to the beautiful coastal town of Split. I’m sitting at a nice cafe somewhere along the Dalmatia coast sipping my espresso and leeching off some wireless internet from someone. The speed is crappy, but at least it gets the job done! I’m uploading some of the Zagreb photos onto Picasa, and there will be more to come!

Zagreb was just your typical capital city, expensive and well, quite boring. There were a couple of nice sights, but nothing terribly exciting. A couple of churches, cathedrals and a ton of insignificant museums. The architecture wasn’t fantastic as well, but the general skyline was nice, dotted with church steeples and towers. We spent Day 1 there hiking around and bumming, enjoying more than a gelato each through the day, before catching the overnight bus to Split.
