One of the most contentious items during the feedback process centred around Section 377(A), which criminalises homosexual sex. Even though the Government said this item was not up for change when it released the proposed changes last November, public feedback on this subject came in ‘emotional, divided and strongly expressed’. The majority, said MHA, called for its retention.
This is why the packing mantra goes, “Throw whatever you think you need into your suitcase first, then after that cut that amount by half.” Packing is never easy, especially if you are going away for a long, long time… so Mum throws everything just short of the kitchen sink into the bag.
