I just finished a telephone interview with Mediacorp Radio, and I’m still quite upset by my poor grasp of the language. I guess due to the lack of practice of the past 6 years, my command of the language has weakened.  Being in an all English speaking environment in London 10 months a year doesn’t help much either. I was perfectly  alright in the preinterview segment, but I really started to stumble over the technical terms and issues. Maybe I should tune into Chinese news stations more often in the future. The DJ did praise my command of the language, saying it was a level above many Singaporeans, but I really had my doubts. Well, I did speak pretty well I guess, and stumbling over technical terms was something I couldn’t avoid.

Anyway, the broadcast would be Radio Singapore International this coming Friday, Sat, depending on which part of the world you are at. It will be available on Short wave radio and FM. And to people who have been asking me about my recently media appearances, yes it’s me. I am the one doing an online campaign to back the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games bid.
