For once I’m starting my vacations before everyone else! The engineers, medics, other scientists are all green with envy! Christmas is here!

As with every Christmas break, I take it easy with the much shorter daylight hours. This year I decided to skip skiing and take to the Christmas markets of Bratislava, Vienna and Prague. I’ve heard much about the Christmas markets of these places, but never had the time to visit. This year, I willed myself away from the danger of skiing to do some cultural immersion.

I will be away for a week starting this Thursday!
