Kosovo declared independence on Sunday and looks forward to become the world’s youngest nation.

I was in Kosovo last year, in the capital Pristina which was under United Nations jurisdiction (United Nationa Mission in Kosovo – UNMIK). It’s a land torn part by ethnic strife, distrust and war. You will probably never understand, until you see it yourself. I will forever remember the feeling standing along Bill Clinton Drive, in front of Hostel Freedom. Here I commemorate the people lost in the conflicts of war.
