This kind of inaccuracy in a national newspaper is becoming close to unacceptable. I understand that humans err, but the golden rule in reporting has always been to check, double check and triple check. Facts, text and engrish. Some bloggers write better than our papers.

Spot it?

Unfortunately, the standard of Straits Times has been below my expectations in recent times. In the quality of reporting, the language, the scope as well as the opinion of the columns. Am I too critical?
