Daryl walked into my room that day and asked for my "profound advice as a ‘cher", promptly throwing down an A level maths question last night.

Eh, got analytical solution or not ah? Or brute force using numerical?

e^x = 3x

I still can’t find a analytical solution. Anyone? None right? (I got the solutions by graphing.)

For the record, I’m not a maths teacher.
