complicated simplicity

The Straits Times Interactive site had a makeover today, and I like the new fresh layout, but I hate the many other parts of it.

The advertorials are out of place and ugly, the rednano stuff is just fugly. To top it all off, the WORST is the stupid razorTV which autoplays and the audio which seriously irritates the hell out of me. It is worse when you are say, in a library, and forget to turn off your speakers. I will seriously be visiting the much less now.

Edit: I decided I had enough, and used AdBlock to block off www.razor.tv. My life is much better now.
