Written December 3, 2008 in Travel

It’s about time I wrote some personal stuff! After a long term in NTU, I managed to survive to hit my first (and last!) vacation in a Singapore college. I must say the Singapore tertiary system is an overload of useless work. But yes, time for my vacation. This time I’ll be crossing Japan on (kinda) a budget.

Right, so I’ll be landing in Tokyo and spending the next 13 days hitting the major tourism areas in mainland Japan. Wish I had time to go up to Hokkaido, another time maybe. I will land in Narita, and spend the night travelling by coach to Osaka. There I will trip out to Himeiji Castle, and tour Osaka before heading down to Kyoto and out to the smaller townships. I will also be visiting Nara from Kyoto. Afterwards it’s back to Tokyo for about 6 days with day trips out to Mount Fuji, Kamakura and Nikko.

And therefore I’ll be away from the 8th of December to 23rd.
