So in the end, I only paid $40 in total to pay for my air tickets to Tokyo. This time I’m spending a lot more time in Tokyo to soak in and enjoy my favourite metropolis. The last trip was kinda rushed as we blitz-ed through Tokyo in deference to the side trips and other cities. This time, I wanna see Tokyo proper. Travelling alone (again!) helps.  I kinda miss my solo European trips, and this seems like a good time to rejuvenate myself before very hectic work starts.

Also a great testbed for the new camera. Haven’t really had the time to try out the capabilities of the d90. So looking forward to this break. :)

Himeji Castle is probably one of the most famous castles in Japan. Along with Osaka-jo, it’s likely to be the castle you see on postcards with Japanese castles on them. This was a daytrip out from Osaka where we spent an afternoon touring one of the most well preserved castles in Japan.

Osaka wasn’t really interesting, hence the lack of pictures. I would possibly only go there for Universal Studios Japan in the future. I rather spend my time in Tokyo. :)
