The Swiss Confederation, more popularly known as Switzerland, is a popular destination for many tourist all over the world. On the day 22 March 2005, 3 brave souls from Singapore decided to take on the challenge of backpacking through this scenic paradise on a shoestring budget to take a breather from the hot humid air of Singapore.

Over these 10 days (7 days actually, 3 days were lost to flights), we conquered 7 cities of Switzerland. We whirlwinded through Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Zermatt, Interlaken, Lucerne, Zurich. We stood on top of the world at Matterhorn, the world's most distinctive peak. We braved subzero temperatures, chilling winds, endured long train rides and banana meals. Yoghurt drinks and chocolates were staple, so was Rosti and sasauges. Final score: 989 photos, 3 cameras.
